Use the stage cards as a planning checklist, then read country notes for local fertilizer language (rates are not prescriptions).
Apply basal NPK according to local recommendations; incorporate residues or manure where available.
Place starter phosphate near the seed row when soils are cold or low in P.
Top-dress nitrogen in one or two splits if the crop looks N-hungry; avoid late N that delays maturity.

Manual or mechanized seeding. If the transplant is carried out, in a 150 m2 seedbed sow 60 kilograms of seed, which will be enough for one hectare of crops. Depending on the soil nutrient concentration levels, it is recommended to apply 140-60-60 N-P-K per hectare when the soil nutrient level is low, 100-30-30 when the soil nutrient level is medium, and 60-0 -0 when the nutrient concentration level is high.
