It is a mountain range that spans the north. C 'is a continuation of the Tell Atlas coastal. The greater part of the area consists of acid clays and sandy rocks. Practices: Soils in this area are forestry vocation and forage. natural forest, scrub and pastures. can rainfed annual crops and vegetables and a bit of arboriculture.

The Ridge is characterized by its hilly terrain and plains with fragile soils. The eastern part is dominated by vast mountains separated by plains. These plains are irrigated and the mountains are covered with forests and Alfa (Stipa tenacissima). At the base of the mountains there are calci soil-encrusted magnesian limestone and brown shades.
