Kroumirie - Mogods
It is a mountain range that spans the north. C 'is a continuation of the Tell Atlas coastal. The greater part of the area consists of acid clays and sandy rocks. This is the wetland with annual rainfall of 800 to 1200 mm per year. In this area, the slopes are steep and irregular (exceeding 8%) and poor soil.
Semiarid fresh winter
The Ridge is characterized by its hilly terrain and plains with fragile soils. The eastern part is dominated by vast mountains separated by plains. These plains are irrigated and the mountains are covered with forests and Alfa (Stipa tenacissima). At the base of the mountains there are calci soil-encrusted magnesian limestone and brown shades. These soils were formed in more arid climatic conditions, they are poor in organic matter, rocky, and often eroded. The average annual rainfall is between 400 and 600 mm
Sub-humid
This area consists of hills and valleys with in limited groundwater resources, mosaic floors that range from slick rise to vertisols in winter with shallow soils. The majority is represented by good soils, deep on soft limestone. pH sup. 7 and clay contents ranging from 25 to 70%. The average annual rainfall between 600 and 800 mm
