Located around the Congo-Nile between cotgreforts of Mumirwa and the central highlands. Altitude: 1750-2600 m, vegetation mountain ranges of eragostris constituted by the Congo-Nile. Sources of many rivers in the Congo Basin in the western part and the Nile Basin in the eastern part. Soils: Hygroxéroferrasols, hygroxéferrisols and leached average fertility. Pluviomotrie: 1800-2000 mm / year Temperature: 15-19 ° C. 2 to 3 months of dry season (July-September).
